Marshall Michigan

Loomis Home
603 N. Kalamazoo Ave.

This Italian Villa and Michigan Historic Site, build in 1869 by the clothier Fredrick Karstaedt, is situated on the highest point in Marshall. Civil War captain Deville Hubbard bought the home in 1869, and added the front veranda at a cost of $1300. The home came into the Loomis family in 1983 and has undergone extensive renovation since that time.
